And we’re an 850-strong team of product, finance, support, commerce, and engineering specialists working across Europe – from Lisbon to London.As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the reliability and scalability of our financial platform and APIs.What will you be doingWe care for quality and well-designed user experiences—for engineers and non-engineers alike. This translates to well-operated and monitored systems, designing and implementing for failure, knowledge about distributed systems, and a passion for automation.Build a compliant and easy-to-use platform, exposed as a set of self-service tools.Leverage cutting-edge technologies and techniques to add new features to the platform.Strike a balance between shipping often and maintaining a high level of system reliability and security. You will work with stakeholders to set and maintain SLOs and SLAs to meet our business and merchants' requirements.Engage with auditors to ensure compliance and keep our merchants' and clients' money safe.Design and implement a shared cluster compute topology within our Cloud Infrastructure.Build a cost attribution system encompassing our cloud and infrastructure services.What you have3 to 6 years of experience as an engineer in the infrastructure or platform area.Experience with any Cloud PaaS is a must.
