We’re an 850-strong team of product, finance, support, commerce, and engineering specialists working across Europe – from Lisbon to London.As a Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in improving the reliability and scalability of our financial platform and APIs.What will you be doingFocus on quality and well-designed user experiences for both engineers and non-engineers. This includes well-operated and monitored systems, designing for failure, understanding distributed systems, and a passion for automation.Build a compliant, user-friendly platform, exposed as self-service tools.Utilize cutting-edge technologies to add new features to the platform.Balance frequent shipping with high system reliability and security. Collaborate with stakeholders to set and maintain SLOs and SLAs to meet business and merchant needs.Engage with auditors to ensure compliance and safeguard our merchants' and clients' funds.Design and implement a shared cluster compute topology within our Cloud Infrastructure.Develop a cost attribution system covering our cloud and infrastructure services.What you have3 to 6 years of experience as an engineer in infrastructure or platform roles.Experience with any Cloud PaaS is essential; experience with Google Cloud Platform is a plus.Expertise in HashiCorp Terraform and a solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles.Experience designing, building, and maintaining automation systems and tools to minimize downtime.Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.Experience managing large-scale applications in complex environments.Knowledge of high-level programming languages like Go or Python.Familiarity with Linux systems and shell scripting.Please apply with your CV in English.Note: Relocation support is not available for candidates outside Europe.Benefits include:MacBookBirthday offComplimentary baby days20 days working from abroad22 holiday daysHealth insuranceEquity plansReferral bonusLearning platform accessWork from home budgetHow we hireStep 1: Apply — Our Talent Acquisition team and hiring manager will review your application within 2 weeks.Step 2: Screening call — If shortlisted, we’ll invite you for a call to learn more about each other.Step 3: Interviews — You’ll have two or more interviews, including technical assessments if applicable.
