OverviewPlant Quality & Food Safety Manager Oricola – Coca-Cola HBC Italia. The plant Quality and Food Safety Manager ensures at plant level that all internal, external and legal product and production process QFS standards and guidelines are met. The role participates in creating an “Always Audit Ready” organization in the plant by achieving best in class Quality and Food Safety performances. Demonstrates leadership and commitment through development and execution of a continuous improvement strategy where “quality is everyone’s responsibility”.Coordinates and verifies quality assurance activities and the effective functioning of the laboratory, including team management and costs.ResponsibilitiesImplement and improve quality assurance processes at the plant level in accordance with Coca‑Cola HBC (CCH), The Coca‑Cola Company (TCCC) and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.Maintain effective QFS systems to ensure product and packaging quality.Support plant manufacturing to produce quality products, including packaging, labeling, microbiological and chemical stability of products to the trade, TCCC approved, and all compliance and certification standards maintained.Lead and chair the Plant cross‑functional Food Safety Team.Ensure legal, KORE and CCHBC Group requirements are understood and implemented in the plant in the area of Quality and Food Safety.Develop and implement effective sampling plans based on CCHBC, TCCC, local laws and current needs to ensure quality and food safety standards of finished products, ingredients, raw materials and materials.QFS KBIs & ComplaintsAccountable for plant quality performance and reduction of financial losses due to quality issues (cost of quality).Report QFS indicators to HQ and the Group with robust data analyses, proper root cause analysis (RCA) and CAP.Ensure effective and timely handling of customer and consumer complaints according to the related procedure.Change management / Validations / NPIInitiate and lead QFS risk assessments for new processes/equipment/products/packaging; propose and design validation plans.Supervise realization, collect and analyze data, ensure risk assessment and mitigation plan effectiveness.Share results with Country/Group and align on approval when needed.CCHBC ProgramsImplement and regularly follow up on Critical to Quality (CtQ) preventive maintenance, B2B, GMP excellence, DPMO, HACCP programs.Plan and conduct revalidation programs in the plant.Structured Problem Solving & Root Cause AnalysisIdentify and address QFS issues in the plant; lead RCA and participate in problem solving sessions to support the plant team.Supervise corrective actions for deviations from standards and ensure CAP implementations; manage quality release processes for blocked materials and stop production if needed.Develop and sustain proactive trend analysis and alert levels; escalate significant events to Plant Manager and Country QSE with recommendations.Audit & Laboratory ManagementLead internal audits, housekeeping checks, GMP programs; ensure compliance with CCHBC and TCCC procedures.Close out audit findings timely and address compliance gaps.Ensure laboratory organization, staffing, stock control and cost management; ensure calibrated equipment and timely training; standardize new solutions in the laboratory when new methods are required.People Management & DevelopmentEnsure team safety; foster a high energy, productive environment and employee engagement.Develop capabilities through programs (Quality Academy, Sensory training, Micro Academy).Plan induction and knowledge transfer for new lab staff; evaluate skills, identify training needs, and develop succession plans.Lead QFS trainings for all plant employees.Quality CultureShift from firefighting to prevention; collaborate with Production and Warehouse teams to create an “Always Ready” organization.Benchmark and adopt best‑in‑class QA processes; foster a culture where Quality is paramount and embraced by all.Encourage continuous improvement and change adoption.Note: May undertake additional responsibilities and projects relevant to the role; comply with company standards, specifications and procedures.Qualifications & RequirementsFormal education: University degree (Food Technologies, Chemistry Engineering or Biology).At least 5 years’ experience in Quality/Manufacturing (including plant and people management) as Quality Manager; background in Food & Beverage business is mandatory.Advanced English; excellent knowledge of CCHBC / TCCC product and package quality.Knowledge of implementing and improving TCCC QMS, ISO 9001:2000, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001; good knowledge of local and EU laws and regulations.Quality systems management: ISO, HACCP, TCCC quality system, IMCR; Lean Manufacturing experience is a plus.End-to-end understanding of Beverage/Juice/Water manufacturing processes; advanced quality and food safety knowledge (including microbiology); strong RCA and continuous improvement capabilities.Risk management and mitigation; QSE maturity, step change management; understanding of supply chain processes and strategy.Work Location & DiversityWhere will you work: Coca-Cola HBC Italia plants in Nogara, Oricola, Marcianise, Fonti del Vulture, Lurisia, and hub in Gaglianico.
