Competency is based on appropriate education, training, skills and experience.The key deliverable is flawless project development and execution.Responsibilities:Provide general engineering support to the plant: safety, mechanical, process, etc.Oversee permitted activities.Lead/and or participate in team meetings for continuous improvement, i.e. Grease Team, Bottle Line, etc., and provide engineering support as required.Execute assigned capital projects using OIMS System 3.1 in accordance to MPG.Participate in SHE committee meetings.Provide / perform project management for capital projects.Recommend to Engineering and Maintenance Manager suggestions for continuous improvement opportunities in assigned areas.Cost tracking and responsibility for capital projects.Evaluate manufacturing technologies to increase plant safety and productivity.Execute and ensure engineering practices that are compliant with plant environmental, health and safety programs as well as all federal, state and local regulatory standards.Ensure that all engineering activities are in compliance with existing regulatory requirements, codes, and standards, including the operation integrity management system (OIMS) system 3.Adhere to and ensure compliance with the Controls Integrity Management System (CIMS), including compliance with Data Integrity Assurance Framework through policy communications, procedures, and, as applicable, holding employees and contractors accountable.Act as liaison with global engineering advisors to implement manufacturing best practices in process and technology.Work ExperienceBackground / Qualification / Specialized Knowledge & Skills:Engineering degree required, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical, etc.Knowledge of Lube Plant operationsPlant Manufacturing experiencePeople skillsMechanical knowledge/skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAnalytical skillsCommunication skillsProject management skillsBasic engineering administrative practicesGood command of English language (i. e. B2)
