As the demand for reliable and efficient power generation is fast growing we are looking for a passionate and curious Senior Proposal Engineer with a proven problem-solving attitude to grow our team to develop technical proposals for reliable sustainable and efficient power generation and electrical systems.You will work in our proposal team focusing on integrated plant solutions covering broad offerings from traditional power generation to Hybrid configurations data-center applications and industrial solutions.ResponsibilitiesSupporting Sales / Commercial Teams to develop business opportunities contributing to develop Baker Hughes winning propositionsSupporting Sales / Commercial Teams to evaluate risks and profitability associated with the deal and enable executive management bid / no bid decisionAnalysing customers requests for quotation (RFQ) to identify the most appropriate and competitive equipment selection and configuration matching its requirementsEngaging supporting functions (Engineering Sourcing Manufacturing Project Execution) as necessary to prepare a complete offering package including preparation of detailed technical deliverables analysis of customers technical specifications to confirm compliance or negotiate deviations and completion of delivery analyses.Drawing up the technical proposal package along with engineering documentation (schematics drawings performance tables ) and cost estimate.Leading technical clarification meetings with customers to ensure mutual alignment on project scope and technical requirements to ensure smooth project executionEnsuring a complete and smooth handover to the execution teamQualificationsHave a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited college or universityHave proven experience as Proposal Engineer or technical role in a project-oriented organizationHave a good knowledge of LV MV HV electrical systems awareness of main electrical equipment technical features sizing criteria and cost drivers (electrical panels power transformers power cables)Have experience in one or more of the following disciplines in energy or industrial applications : Electrical I&C Layout & piping Process engineeringBe familiar with complex and multidisciplinary projects and able to integrate several different inputsBe fluent English (spoken and written)Be available to travel 20% of the timeBenefitsWorking flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productiveContemporary work-life balance policies and wellbeing activitiesComprehensive private medical care optionsSafety net of life insurance and disability programsTailored financial programsAdditional elected or voluntary benefitsRequired Experience : Senior IC
