Role Purpose
Bureau Veritas Malta Oil and Petrochemicals (Inspectorate Malta Ltd) is recruiting inspectors for the Oil & Petrochemical Industry. Candidates should be flexible, enthusiastic, and committed to working in a challenging environment with a willingness to learn various operations.
Requirements

Preference for candidates with seafaring or petroleum inspector experience
Good command of English
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer literacy
Satisfactory knowledge of Mathematics and Physics
Effective communication skills
Team player
Ability to work offshore and be immune to seasickness
Willingness to work under duress and in difficult situations
Valid driving license
Adherence to health and safety policies
Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and nights offshore

Responsibilities

Measuring and sampling petroleum products in cargo tanks
Supervising oil transfer operations
Monitoring and controlling oil cargo transfer in bulk
Preparing reports on inspections conducted
