Job Title : PeopleSoft Finance ConsultantLocation : RemoteSalary / Rate : €450Start Date : AugustJob Type : ContractExperience PeopleSoft consultant needed to lead the maintenance and upgrade of our customer PeopleSoft FSCM instance. Will be largely remote.Analysis of user requirements for new solutions or of issues within Peoplesoft Financials, working with the SME as necessary, and propose costed options to address needs with timeline.Analyse technical issues in PeopleSoft Financials, document root causes, and propose solutions. Design and implement the solution.Provide user support for technical issues in PeopleSoft Financials through an internal ticketing system. Tickets must be managed to ensure that users are informed of progress or need for feedback.Develop technical solutions for user issues, including updates to Peoplecode, sql scripts or other scripts to resolve data issues, updates or amendments to workflow.Resolve performance issues in processes by identifying bottlenecks and developing remediationsPrepare projects and accompanying documentation for the PeopleSoft support team to migrate project to production.Support the application of patches, PUMs and testing post application, working closely with the database managers.Provide post go-live support for any solutions deployed to productionWork closely with developers, Peoplesoft and in other technologies, to validate requirements and ensure integration points are managed efficiently and securely while maintaining the availability and integration of the data.Work with the ICT cyber security team to address and issues or propose solutions to improve security and resiliency within PeoplesoftSupport the ongoing work to improve the robustness of the access control process in Peoplesoft.Work with external hosting provider as required on any issues related to the full Peoplesoft stack.Technical Requirements :Experience of working with the listed modules in PeopleSoft Financials, in at least version 9.XHighly skilled knowledge of People Tools 8.5xHighly skilled knowledge of PeopleCode, including application packages and workflowDemonstrable knowledge of security components in Peoplesoft, with ability to setup or modify security components as requiredStrong demonstrable knowledge of problem-solving technical issues and supporting a non- technical user groupStrong demonstrable knowledge of developing technical solutions for listed modules in PeopleSoft FinancialsExperience of approval workflow - creating new complex workflowsExperience of designing integration broker messages and component interfaces and other integration methods including preferably, solution design for integration with Cloud SaaS solutionsIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply now with your updated CV in Microsoft Word / PDF format.DisclaimerNotwithstanding any guidelines given to level of experience sought, we will consider candidates from outside this range if they can demonstrate the necessary competencies.Square One is acting as both an employment agency and an employment business, and is an equal opportunities recruitment business.
