We’re looking for a People Specialist to join our People Operations team in Italy, with a core focus on tech recruitment globally and an appetite to grow into a broader PeopleOps generalist role over time.You’ll start by leading recruitment for our Tech & Product teams (Software Engineering, QA, Data, SRE, Product, etc.) and gradually take on new responsibilities across onboarding, data, contracts, systems, payroll, and more.You’ll work closely with hiring managers and our People team to shape experiences for candidates and employees across the full employee lifecycle.How This Role Contributes to the Bigger PictureAs a People Specialist focused on tech hiring globally, you’ll directly impact our ability to attract and retain the people who design, build, and scale our products. You’ll help us grow thoughtfully and inclusively, ensuring we have the talents needed to meet our strategic goals.Beyond hiring, your work in PeopleOps will help ensure data accuracy, smooth processes, and a strong sense of employee connection — all of which are foundational to delivering on our company OKRs, and ultimately achieving our vision.What You’ll Focus On Talent Acquisition (Primary Focus)Manage full-cycle recruitment for tech and product roles : sourcing, screening, coordination, and offers.Partner with hiring managers to shape hiring plans and ensure alignment on role expectations.Build candidate pipelines using ATS tools and sourcing platforms.Own candidate communication and ensure a great end-to-end experience.Support recruitment for non-tech teams (such as Marketing, Customer Success, Sales, or Operations) based on business needs, with guidance and support from your team.Contribute to recruitment analytics, process improvements, and employer branding projects.People Operations (Growth Area)Support onboarding and offboarding with clear checklists and seamless handovers.Maintain HR data accurately in our systems and assist with HR reporting.Assist in preparing contracts and employee documentation using standard templates.Help with monthly payroll coordination and liaising with local providers.Collaborate on projects to improve engagement, workflows, and employee touchpoints.Learn about HR compliance in Italy and support the team with People-related questions.What Success Looks Like in the First 6–12 MonthsBuild strong, collaborative relationships with hiring managers in Tech & ProductSuccessfully hire for 3–5 key technical roles, with positive feedback on process and communicationTake ownership of the onboarding process for tech hires, and help streamline the candidate-to-employee handoffMaintain 100% accuracy in employee data and contract records for your regionBegin supporting at least one PeopleOps project outside of recruitment (e.g., payroll prep, survey coordination, workflows)Contribute regularly to team meetings, share progress, ask for support when needed, and build trust within the teamABOUT YOUYou bring 1–2 years of hands-on experience in technical recruitment (in-house or agency). You’re now seeking a broader career in PeopleOps, beyond just hiring.You’re comfortable using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and Google Workspace.You’re organised, responsive, and take pride in clear communication.You're curious, thoughtful, and eager to learn through hands-on experience.
