People & Culture Manager (IAS Milan)ICS Milan is looking for a People & Culture Manager responsible to deliver high‑quality HR services throughout the employee lifecycle, implementing and reinforcing compliant policies and practices, and fostering a positive, engaging, and rewarding work environment. The People & Culture Manager at IAS Milan acts as a trusted point of reference for all teaching and non‑teaching staff with empathy and discretion. Reporting directly to the Head of School and to the People & Culture Manager Italy, this HR professional combines strategic thinking with a hands‑on, operational mindset. The ideal candidate enjoys “doing” as much as "guiding," thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced multicultural environment, and possesses strong interpersonal communication skills and proficiency in English. Immediate start, full‑time, on‑site.ResponsibilitiesManage the full employee lifecycle—including hiring, onboarding, off‑boarding, contract changes, compensation and benefits, absence management, employee data, compliance, and employee relations—for around 200 employees across three campuses.Support new staff immigration and relocation processes.Compile key operational payroll metrics and dashboards and follow the entire payroll process for timely and reliable processing using Zucchetti Infinity Suite.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local laws, including GDPR.Provide support and guidance on employee relations matters, maintain positive workplace morale, and manage conflict resolution when necessary.Lead or support initiatives in training, diversity, inclusion, and engagement.Act as an ambassador for company culture and support internal communication.Liaise with and guide internal stakeholders (e.g., School Managers, School Principals) through sensitive conversations and transitions.Assist the People & Culture Manager Italy and Head of School in day‑to‑day activities related to personnel for IAS Milan.QualificationsProven past experience in a similar role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment or similar field.Knowledge of employment‑related law, regulations, and payroll administration.Strong attention to detail and experience organizing and leading projects with many data sources.Knowledge of Zucchetti Infinity a plus.Advanced knowledge of Excel.Excellent fluency in Italian and English, both verbal and written.Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable dealing with change and competing priorities.Proactive, hands‑on, solution‑oriented attitude.Excellent time‑management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; data‑driven mentality.Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field preferred.Additional InformationAny People Partner, Labor Legislation, Compensation and Benefits or Social Security trainings will be highly appreciated.Our People Values: Be Excellent – We do challenging work and achieve incredible things; Be Supportive – We support each other as we grow; Be Pioneer – We innovate and push for boundless creativity through proactivity, responsibility, and passion; Be Global – We know no bounds to shape the world and embrace different cultures through diversity and inclusion.Safeguarding Statement: IAS Milan is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
