You’re a strong communicator across all mediums regardless of audience and understand the importance of being responsive.Job DescriptionAs the Payroll Specialist, you’ll report to the Payroll Manager and take ownership of the end-to-end payroll process for our rapidly growing organization. You’ll ensure timely and accurate multi-state payroll execution, provide responsive support to employee inquiries, and contribute to ongoing process improvements.What You’ll Be DoingNo day or week will look exactly the same, and you’ll be contributing to lots of exciting projects as our company grows. If this list excites you, this is probably the role for you!Prepare accurate and timely semi-monthly, multi-state payroll processing through ADP for employees and contractorsMaintain employee records including new hires, terminations, changes to pay rates, leave of absence, and appropriate state/local tax changes if applicableRespond to employee’s inquiries and requests regarding payroll matters timely and professionallyAssist with annual audits, 401k, and workers compensationEnsure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local payroll tax regulationsStay informed on evolving tax laws and payroll-related regulationsContinuously innovate and optimize payroll processesAssist with other strategic projectsWhat You’ll NeedWe want to make sure all our employees are set up for success from the get-go and that everyone is a great fit for their individual role.You’ll definitely succeed if you have:2+ years of payroll experienceADP Workforce Now experienceProven proficiency in ExcelStrong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracyStrong problem-solving skills and passion for continuous process improvementsAn ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationAbility to handle confidential and sensitive matters with integrityWhat Would Set You ApartWe’ll be looking for these standout qualifications as we review your resume.
