Job ResponsibilitiesThe candidate will experience a challenging multi-business and multidisciplinary environment spanning form mechanics to electronics applied to the Small domestic Appliance sector. This role requires significant collaboration with the Innovation and Product Development teams, the Legal Department and external IP firms to effectively secure and manage the intellectual property that provides a competitive edge for the DeLonghi Group.Principal Accountabilities:- Prior art researches- Freedom to Operate (FTO) analysis- Drafting and prosecution of patent applications in De’Longhi Group’s Innovation and Product development centres in Italy, the UK, and Germany.- Monitoring of deadlines and ensuring proper docketing;- Develop Patents Landscapers in relevant areas to identify open spaces for innovation and Patent coverage- Detecting infringement by competitors and developing enforcement strategies against infringement.Job ProfileQualifications, Knowledge:- Proven experience (3-5 years) in the role- Master’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or another equivalent technical degree.- Fluent both in Italian and in English- European or at least a National qualificationSkills, capabilities, Competencies:- Analytical skills and precision;- Business mindset, with strong communication skills;- Strong team-building attitude and problem-solving approach.
