As a Data Center Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our data centre operations.DutiesInstall, configure, and maintain computer hardware and networking equipment.Troubleshoot and repair issues related to computer systems and network connectivity.Work with schematics to understand system layouts and configurations.Perform network installations, including Ethernet cabling and configuration of Cisco routers.Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal performance of data centre operations.Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they escalate.Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, installations, and system changes.Ensure compliance with safety standards while working with electrical components.RequirementsProficiency in computer hardware repair and maintenance.Strong knowledge of computer networking principles, including experience with Juniper and Cisco routers.Familiarity with schematics and technical diagrams related to data centre operations.Experience in network installation and troubleshooting Ethernet connections.Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Relevant certifications in networking or data centre management are advantageous but not essential.A proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and processes.If you are passionate about technology and eager to contribute to a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply for the Data Center Technician position.Job Type : Part-timePay : €30.00 per hourExperienceData centre : 1 year (Preferred)
