Your Role
We are seeking a talented and highly motivated Operation Project Leader to join our growing organization. This self-motivated, creative, and proactive individual will work successfully in a dynamic environment, managing multiple platforms, architectures, and technologies within our Global Operation team at our HQ in Cesena, Italy. The role involves managing new strategic projects to extend and strengthen our international manufacturing footprint, including project scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination of manufacturing layout activities, including the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and processes.
The role also involves overseeing the phase-in of new products according to the planning of the new footprint. Collaborating with R&D, T&M, QA, and other business areas, the role focuses on optimizing and monitoring new production processes, cycles, quality, and technological standards. This is an international role requiring willingness to travel and stay abroad for short periods.
Your Impact
Manage problem-solving activities related to project management and manufacturing (6σ, Kaizen, etc.)
Oversee factory layout, assembly line layout, and project Gantt
Manage sub-projects such as machinery and automation system introductions
Conduct SWOT analysis of technology and layout solutions
Evaluate and optimize internal logistics flows
About You
Degree in mechanical or management engineering, focused on production and logistics
4-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, methods, or logistics roles
Background in automotive, whitegoods, or industrial companies with series production and continuous improvement focus is a plus
Knowledge of welding, metal, and painting technologies is an added value
Understanding of production and assembly processes
Fundamentals of Lean methodologies (Value Stream Mapping, SMED, DMAIC, 6σ)
Goal-oriented with good interpersonal skills
Fluent in Italian and English
Knowledge of SAP and Power BI is a plus
Enthusiasm, humility, proactivity, and a passion for sport and physical activity
