As Operations Leader Small Impeller Line you will :Manage an operation business unit or part of a production facility in order to reach defined targets in quality, cost, delivery and safety. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards. Team management of salaried employees; this does not include production supervisors who oversee hourly employees.Redefine processes and procedures on a regular basis and require frequent interaction with adjacent functions (e.g., engineering, planning, maintenance).Handle latitude in manufacturing techniques. Manufacturing process requires choosing the right approaches. Employees should have technical know-how.Leads a small manufacturing unit with a budget > 1.5 million.To be successful in this role you will have :Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in manufacturing.Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Operation Management.Desired CharacteristicsStrong oral and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.Ability to influence others and lead small teams.Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.Effective problem identification and solution skills.Proven analytical and organizational ability.Work in a way that works for youWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
