OPERATIONS DIRECTOR – MULTI-SITE PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING
Pharma Point is currently seeking an Operations Director for a leading international pharmaceutical company, undergoing an important phase of industrial growth and transformation.

Main responsibilities

Define and implement the overall industrial and operational strategy across all manufacturing sites;
Supervise production, maintenance, and supply chain activities, ensuring performance, quality, and business continuity;
Lead and coordinate Plant Managers and site leadership teams, fostering integration and cross-site collaboration;
Drive continuous improvement, digital transformation, and investment projects to support industrial excellence;
Ensure compliance with all regulatory, quality, and safety standards (GMP, HSE).

Ideal profile

Degree in scientific or engineering disciplines (CTF, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent);
Proven experience in Operations or Plant Management roles within the pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated industry;
Strong strategic mindset, structured leadership, and the ability to manage complex, multi-site organizations;
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Italian and / or other European languages are a plus).

Location: Italy, with frequent travel across national and international manufacturing sites.
