OverviewOperations Assistant (Global Sporting Event) - Italian/English SpeakingJoin to apply for the Operations Assistant (Global Sporting Event) - Italian/English Speaking role at The iLUKA Collective.The Operations Assistant is a contract position for two months – Jan-Feb 2026. You will be working on an exciting client project for a Global Sporting Event in Milano and Cortina. This role supports understanding all elements of the assigned hospitality programme and assists in the development and delivery of host training, rosters and management of the host team for the programme.ResponsibilitiesAssist with on-site logistics planning, preparations and implementationCoordinate inputs from all management to ensure that each operational area of the programme has the required support and correct data to performProvide support to the key account management team and day-to-day guidance on operational considerationsDevelop a comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality programme and be familiar with all venues, locations, distances and routesAssist with coordination of iLUKA host teamAssist with production of team and client documentation as requiredEstablish effective communication systems for the iLUKA host team internally and towards the management team on the programmeAssist with coordination of all designated iLUKA host team elements of the hospitality programmeAssist with day-to-day management of the iLUKA host teamAssist with host team scheduling as necessaryProvide host support when necessaryMaintain event schedules and general knowledge of the event historyThis is not an exhaustive list and all team members will be expected to contribute to any other aspects of the business, as necessary.Skills, Knowledge, ExpertiseFluent in English and ItalianExperience in delivering events in Milano or Cortina would be idealExcellent Communication SkillsExcellent organisational skillsStrong time management skills with ability to meet strict deadlinesAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesFlexible approach to working hours and ability to adapt to a dynamic environmentAble to build rapport at all levelsProactive, positive approach to all tasks and a high degree of reliabilityExcellent IT skills, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OfficeLeadership skillsAttributesHigh energy, comfortable working potentially long hours in a demanding but rewarding and friendly environmentFlexible, enthusiastic, confident, outgoingWilling to roll sleeves up and get involvedPassionate about sport, hospitality and deliveryAble to work in a calm, kind and professional manner in a pressured environmentAbility to prioritise a demanding workloadEmployment typeContractJob functionManagement and Manufacturing
