About the Role
Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front‑line performance and ensure the business operates safely. The Operational Risk Manager works closely with the Head of Risk and key stakeholders to track risk exposures, improve risk management frameworks, and support governance structures.
What You’ll Be Doing
Working with the first line of defence (1LoD) to identify, assess, document, and review risks of all types
Providing oversight in the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of controls
Developing and implementing risk policies, risk procedures, KRIs, and risk appetite statements
Monitoring risks against limits and thresholds, producing reports for management and stakeholders
Co‑ordinating risk incident management, including registration of risk events, investigation, root‑cause analysis, and reporting
Participating in local new initiatives approval processes, ensuring stakeholder engagement and governance
Facilitating risk awareness and culture among team members
Supporting audits and regulatory inquiries related to operational risk
What You’ll Need
4+ years of experience in risk management or a related role within financial services
Bachelor’s degree
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills
Great critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently while managing concurrent deadlines and multiple priorities
Nice to Have
Proficiency with SQL
Understanding of financial services regulations
Knowledge of fintech products, processes, and technologies
Experience in operational risk capital calculation and the ICAAP process
Master’s degree
Professional certifications (e.g., PRMIA)
