This position is critical in enhancing and maintaining the mental performance and readiness of Guardian Angel (GA) operators within the Preservation of the Force and Family (POTFF) Program.Clearance and QualificationsClearance: Secret Security Clearance requiredEducation: Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Psychology degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-approved programExperience: Two years post-doctoral experience in the independent practice of psychology, with expertise in clinical psychology, alcohol and substance abuse, trauma, and family / marital issuesResponsibilities and DeliverablesDescription of Support Requirement: The Operational Psychologist will provide expert behavioral sciences consultation to Guardian Angel operators, focusing on organizational, operational, and investigative requirements within the POTFF parameters.
