We are looking for an Operational Excellence Senior Specialist to lead transformational initiatives within our technical operations.ResponsibilitiesLead the analysis and optimization of business processes across all Alfasigma sites to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunitiesImplement and promote Lean methodologies, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, SMED, Visual Management, and Spaghetti Chart analysisCollaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute process improvement projects, ensuring alignment with corporate strategic objectivesFacilitate training sessions and workshops to educate teams on Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologiesSupport data-driven decision-making by monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), includingOEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) to measure equipment efficiency and optimize asset utilizationCycle times, waste reduction, and productivity improvements to track operational performanceLead time reduction and process variability analysis to enhance efficiencyDevelop and implement best practices to standardize processes across different sitesPrepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate project outcomes and improvements to senior managementAct as a change agent to drive a culture of continuous improvement and operational efficiencyQualificationsBachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Business Analytics, or a related fieldProven experience in Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement roles (at least 3 years).Strong expertise in Lean methodologies, including VSM, 5S, SMED, Visual Management, and Spaghetti Chart analysisLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plusExcellent analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Microsoft Power Platform, MinitabStrong problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives across different locationsEffective communication and leadership skillsExperience in multi-site operations, with a strong ability to work transversally across different teams and locationsFluency in English is requiredWillingness to travel across Alfasigma sites as neededCompanyAlfasigma is a global pharmaceutical company founded over 75 years ago in Italy, where it is headquartered (in Bologna and Milan).
