Job Description
Syntax is a business entity with more than 250 employees and offices across the national territory (Piedmont, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Apulia). The company is rapidly evolving, with an annual production increase of over 20%, and operates in emerging and strategic sectors such as Information and Communication Technology, Plant Engineering, Green Energy and Mobility. Its mission is to support the growth of small, medium and large enterprises in both the private and public sectors, serving more than 1,300 clients nationwide.
Role Scope & Support Hours
The position provides on-site support from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM LT. The role focuses on Field Support operations, including troubleshooting, diagnostics and ticket resolution requiring physical intervention. Activities include IMACD operations and Break-Fix support on laptops, desktops and connected peripherals, with direct interaction at end-users' desks when remote support is not sufficient.
Device & Workplace Management
Responsibilities include the installation, administration and maintenance of Windows workstations used in production lines, assembly areas, R&D environments and shopfloor, according to Client Windows image standards. The role also covers management of workplace peripherals (monitors, docking stations, keyboards, mice), Android tablets, Raspberry devices, TV dashboards (DOME) and Totems used within industrial and business environments. Additional activities include administration of Inkjet, Laser, Matrix, Label and Zebra printers, as well as physical relocation of MFP units and bulk printer movements.
Required Skills

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve tickets requiring on-site Field Support
IMACD and Break-Fix support for laptops, desktops, and connected peripherals
Installation, administration, and maintenance of Windows computers (production, assembly, R&D, shopfloor)
Administration and maintenance of workplace peripherals (monitors, keyboards, mice, docking stations)
Administration and maintenance of Android tablets, Raspberry devices, TV dashboards (DOME) and Totems
Administration of Inkjet, Laser, Matrix, Label and Zebra printers
Physical relocation of MFPs and bulk printer moves
Coordination with Level 2 RDS teams and Service Desk for ticket resolution
Active use of Known Error Database (KEDB) for operational efficiency
Identification of recurring incidents and creation of KB articles (shift-left initiatives)
Participation in audit, security, risk, and compliance activities when applicable
Full ownership of Break-Fix activities and service requests requiring on-site presence
Scheduling interventions with end-users to minimize disruption
Hardware collection and withdrawal during user offboarding
High-priority support for VIP users and critical devices
Fluency in Italian and English

Contract Type & Compensation
The position is offered under a fixed-term employment contract.
Annual Gross Salary up to €25,000, depending on experience and skill level. Candidates with lower seniority may be evaluated for a proportional compensation adjustment.
