You will also have access to our comprehensive benefits and competitive pay in addition to growth opportunities and excellent retirement options.Description :ResponsibilitiesEmploys operational risk management principles.Performs ground maintenance tasks and repairs on aircraft and mission systems components.Interprets technical manual / correspondence (i.e. instructions, drawings, diagrams).Identifies and diagnoses aircraft and mission systems malfunctions.Documents all inspections, maintenance, and repairs in a maintenance management database system.Orders parts and materials needed for maintenance / repairs.Provides training via self-paced readings, labs, and on-the-job training to individuals in the performance ground maintenance duties.Uses and performs operator maintenance on tools, special tools / test equipment, and Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) and Peculiar Ground Support Equipment (PGSE).Performs shift “All Tools Accounted For” (ATAF) inventories and attend all hands Foreign Object or Debris (FOD) walk downs to maintain standards that comply with FOD and Tool Control procedures.Maintains and accounts for all batteries in the inventory and assigned to aircraft and GSE.Requests and receives aircraft materials from supply system and ensure applicable technical directives have been complied with prior to installation / use on aircraft.Prepares, reviews, and updates aircraft maintenance forms and records.Uses common measuring tools, measuring gages, alignment fixtures, and special tools.Ensures that all related maintenance operations are conducted in a safe manner.Other tasks, duties, and responsibilities, as directed.Qualifications :Four (4) years of recent experience as an NDI Technician.Successfully completed and be qualified by the appropriate U.S. Government NDI Technician course.Proficient in the use of computer-hosted interactive technical manuals, aircraft maintenance forms or similar aviation maintenance management system, and other aircraft-related documentation.Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to effectively communicate with the customer in a professional and courteous manner.Possess a valid issued driver’s license.Successfully pass an overseas deployment physical upon hireEducationHS diploma or equivalent required.Desired QualificationsSeven to ten (10) years of directly related experience.FAA A & P.Job ID : 2024-14086 Work Type : On-Site
