The Group Advanced Analytics and Automation Solutions Unit is responsible for executing key Advanced Analytics projects at the Group level, focusing on AI-driven automation, recommendations, and predictions. The unit also supports local Business Units (BUs) in implementing their projects and manages the development of a central library of shared analytics and automation services accessible via a central platform.This role involves designing, developing, and continuously improving a Python-based library of reusable text processing algorithms, including data extraction and text classification, as well as developing LLM / LMM-based algorithms in collaboration with IT and other internal teams. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of professional experience, familiarity with algorithms, machine learning model development, generative AI, and hands-on Python experience (AWS experience is a plus). If you are passionate about Python development, possess a strong algorithmic mindset, and enjoy collaborative environments, we encourage you to apply.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and design scalable solutions.You will develop, test, and maintain high-quality Python code for various applications, ensuring performance and reliability.You will implement and optimize algorithms to solve complex problems, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of ML and AI, including generative models.You will work with DevOps teams and the Digital Factory to deploy and manage applications on AWS infrastructure.You will participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.You will troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues promptly.You will stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes.RequirementsDegree in mathematics, computer science, engineering, physics, or related fields.Strong problem-solving, analytical, and deductive skills.Proven experience as a Python Developer (1-3 years) and as a Data Scientist (at least 1 year) with text analytics use cases.Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.Experience with AWS cloud platform and containerization technologies like Docker.Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.Effective communication skills and team collaboration ability.Proficiency in English (B2 level).High commitment, autonomy, proactivity, and results-oriented mindset.Nice to have :AWS certifications.Experience with serverless computing.Company ProfileGenerali is a leading global insurance provider, operating in over 60 countries with nearly 80,000 employees.
