We're looking for a .NET Core developer to work as a freelancer and on full-time projects. Location: Bologna, Italy. You will come 3 times per week to the office with the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and services using .NET Core and C#.
Work across the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment and maintenance.
Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to define requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Design and optimize relational database schemas (such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL) and non-relational databases (such as MongoDB and Redis).
Write unit tests to ensure code quality.
Contribute to the automation of component tests to guarantee system integrity.
Participate in code reviews and technical decision-making.
Resolve complex performance and scalability issues.

Qualifications

Professional software development experience of at least 2-3 years working in .Net Core.
Experience with Microservices.
Experience with cloud (AWS Prefered).
Experience with databases (SQL) and systems integration (API, queues messaging).
Good knowledge of principles like SOLID, DRY, KISS, etc.
Experience in testing (Unit Test, Load Test, E2E, …).
Fluent technical English is a must.
Native Level of Italian is a must.
