OverviewIntroduction / Purpose :The MSL is a field-based scientific and subject matter expert for the assigned territory reporting to the MSL Manager within the Medical Department. The MSL is accountable to engage in non-promotional, peer-to-peer high-quality scientific interactions with key external experts (KOLs) and other relevant HCP / stakeholders about science and the appropriate safe use of Sobi medicines with the purpose of contributing to innovative healthcare partnerships and to improve the practice of medicine for better patient outcomes. The MSL leverages the right evidence at the right time during their scientific interactions while identifying knowledgeable insights about current practices, treatment landscape, patient journey, unmet needs, and opportunities that help inform and shape the medical and cross-functional strategy. The MSL will act as the first point of contact in the field for medical / scientific aspects related to the assigned product / therapeutic area (TA), working in close collaboration and synergy within the Medical Team.
