With a workforce of over 3.300 professionals across its offices in Europe and around the world, Telespazio operates an international network of Space Centres and Teleports, offering cutting-edge solutions in Geoinformation Services, Satellite Systems and Operations, and Satellite Communications.Join us as we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in Space.Inside the Area of Technology & Innovation "New Mission Design" in Rome, we are looking for a Mission Analysis & SW Engineer.The selected candidate will be responsible for the following main activities:Analysis, Design, Development and Modelling of Innovative Space MissionsDigital Twin Development for Space Missions Verification and DemonstrationSupport End2End developmentDegree and Seniority:Degree in Aerospace engineering – JuniorTechnical skills and IT tools:Solid knowledge of orbital mechanics for mission analysis and design of space missions and experience with tools for trajectory design and mission simulation (e.g. STK / GMAT)Basic knowledge of spacecraft subsystems (ADCS, power, thermal, etc.) and ability to support preliminary space segment design, performance analysis, and system integrationKnowledge of the System Engineering & Model-Based System Engineering approaches to apply along project life-cycle, from requirement management, architecture and design definition to development and verification/validation activitiesAwareness of real-time system simulation, model integration using APIs, and familiarity with Mission Digital Twin concepts applied to missions and asset monitoringInterest in AR/VR/MR technologies for the development of immersive simulations, training tools, or interactive system visualizationsSolid programming capability in Python and MATLABGood knowledge of the English language is required (B2-C1)Availability for business trips, if necessaryProblem-SolvingAdaptability & FlexibilityTime Management & OrganizationInterpersonal SkillsWhat We Offer:A stimulating and dynamic working environment with flexible working hoursHybrid working (onsite and off-site)Meal voucher, company canteen and employee welfare programsFree access to online learning platform with courses from top universitiesOpportunities for international experiencesWhy Telespazio: At Telespazio, the well-being, safety, and development of our people are at the heart of our corporate culture.
