Next Generation Robotics S.r.l. (NGR) is an innovative start-up spin-off company of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa. NGR operates in the field of collaborative robotics, developing advanced robotic systems combined with artificial intelligence algorithms aimed at inspection and monitoring applications in the railway sector.Job Description :The ideal Mid-senior Sales Manager is a quick learner with strong negotiating skills.Customer-oriented, able to proactively identify customer pain points and respond accordingly by driving internal processes to fulfill customer needs.The Mid-senior Sales Manager has the ability to evaluate the market and report regularly on its status.The Mid-senior Sales Manager is self-motivated, able to work proactively with minimal guidance, and coordinate sales and marketing activities.Objectives of this role :Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of company productsPerform market research and identify promotion strategies for our solutionsAchieve company objectives by thorough planning, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecastsGenerate leads and establish and nurture client relationshipsResponsibilities :Create and execute a strategic sales plan to expand our customer base and extend the company's global reachMeet with potential clients and develop long-lasting relationships to address their needsLead and coordinate all sales activities locally and regionallyPrepare sales budgets and projections and approve expendituresServe as the entry point for worldwide sales representatives (agents/partners)Manage customer portfolios, aiming to improve satisfaction and resolve issuesIdentify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans to address themManage month-end and year-end closing processesPrepare quotes and attend tendersParticipate in and organize market exhibitions and eventsRequired skills and qualifications :Self-motivationExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsCustomer-orientedTarget-drivenPresentation skillsAbility to travel at least 30% of the timeProficiency in English is mandatory; additional languages are a plusPrevious experience as a sales manager in the railway fieldEducation and experience requirements :Master's degree in marketing or business administrationAt least 5 years of experience as a sales managerA proven track record of successful sales performance is advantageousWe invite motivated and ambitious professionals to join us in advancing the future of collaborative railway robotics.
