To be successful you need to be highly motivated and detail oriented while showing the highest standards of execution.Key ResponsibilitiesFollow work instructions and safety proceduresAssemble and test with emphasis to detail, an assortment of LRUs, electrical‑mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace buildsParticipate in process improvements, maintain floor stock inventoryYou will independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverablesExecute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenanceChampion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locationsEnsure lab equipment is maintained and calibratedSupport preventive maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systemsReceive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients (using pallet jacks, kit carts, etc.)Contribute to improving SOPs and safety proceduresExport Control RequirementDue to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.Additional RequirementsWilling to work 4 / 10s as assigned:1st shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm PST (Wed–Sat)2nd shift: 5:00 pm - 3:30 am PST (Wed–Sat)Willing to work overtime and weekends as neededFlexible working/commuting between site locations Redmond, WA and Kirkland, WAStanding for long periods of time, climbing up and down ladders, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching may be required to perform the functions of this positionAble to lift up to 25lb unassistedBasic Qualifications1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment, or relevant trade school certification1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments (i.e., calipers, multimeters, torque wrenches)1+ years working with test tools and test methods that adequately validate the systemExperience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawingsPreferred QualificationsAircraft & Powerplant (A&P) certification/licenseCFOT certification or equivalent experienceAirman or Avionic certification or equivalent experienceASE certification or equivalent experienceExperience in fast‑paced production environment with flight hardwareExperience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware and clean room requirementsExperience working with Electro‑Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, Fiber Optics/Optical and/or Harness IntegrationAbility to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a high‑paced, challenging work environmentExpert knowledge and certification in rigging and lifting equipmentExperience in rigging and lifting equipment inspection and maintenanceExperience in rigging related safety measuresEqual Opportunity StatementAmazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers. This information is provided per the Washington State Pay Transparency Act. Base pay information is based on market location. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,440/year in our lowest geographic market up to $69,680/year in our highest geographic market.
