The main responsibilities are aimed at verifying that vessels meet international and classification society standards.Key AccountabilitiesRegulatory Compliance: Ensuring adherence to classification society rules, international regulations, and statutory requirements. Apply new regulations promptly and efficiently.Technical Expertise: Provide advice to clients, shipowners, and manufacturers. Stay updated on industry technologies.Problem-Solving: Address technical issues during surveys or client interactions.Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in inspection reports.Client Education: Educate clients on processes and compliance importance.Documentation and Reporting: Use standardized templates and digital tools for reports and documentation.Collaboration and Teamwork: Work with colleagues and share best practices.Continuous Professional Development: Engage in ongoing learning and certifications.Ethical Conduct: Uphold integrity, transparency, and fairness.EducationMaster’s Degree in Naval EngineeringQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience as a Junior Surveyor or 5 years' experience in marine engineering or survey fields.Proficiency in English for classification and statutory services.Knowledge of RINA Rules, guides, regulations, and instructions.Understanding of engineering plans, shipbuilding, and operations.Experience with various surveys and audits.Knowledge of ship engineering systems, machinery, and related software.With over 5,800 employees and 200 offices worldwide, RINA provides certification, classification, testing, inspection, training, and consultancy services.
