To strengthen our Rheuma-Bone Team, based in our affiliate in Milan, Italy, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of Medical Scientific Liaison Rheuma-Bone Team.As a Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) for the Rheuma-Bone Team in Northern Italy, you will identify and foster purposeful partnerships with key scientific influencers to drive new sources of patient value. Your area will be located in Northern Italy.About the roleAs an MSL, you will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), ensuring they receive the latest information on emerging trends, scientific data, and updates on new products, pipeline developments, and respond to scientific requests about off-label uses of current products. You will monitor evolving guidelines and keep KOLs informed with the most current information related to our products and pipeline. You will also collect insights from KOLs regarding unmet needs of patients and physicians to drive improvements in patient care. You will share relevant insights with the medical team and cross-functional colleagues and collaborate on initiatives that enhance patient value.You will work withYou will collaborate with clinical studies and development teams, sharing insights with R&D and Evidence Generation teams. As the leading local scientific expert for UCB solutions and PVU members, you will support market access colleagues by presenting RWE, HEOR, and clinical information to regional and local payers. You will support both commercial and medical strategic teams to ensure the success of strategic projects aligned with the national brand and medical plans. For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:At least 2 years of experience in a similar role in relevant therapeutic areas; experience in Bone Metabolism Disorders, Rheumatology, or Inflammatory Diseases preferredTravel requirement: 60%; candidates based in Milan or Northern Italy preferredPrior product launch experience is a plusExcellent communication skills, ability to articulate complex scientific concepts clearlyActive listening skills and opportunity identificationTeam player with good practice sharingBasic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcareDynamic, committed, results-oriented, and adaptableProficient with digital tools (MS Teams, Office, CRMs)Ability to work independently and collaborativelyFull professional proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written)If you are ready to create value and make a difference for patients, we would love to hear from you!Location: Medical Scientific, Milan, Lombardy, Italy
