Job title : Medical Materiel Technician Job location : 31st Medical Group, Aviano Medical Treatment Facility, Italy.Type of Job : Full-Time Position Schedule : Monday through Friday, 0730 until 1630 with a 60 minutes lunch break.Duties : The applicant should : Perform a broad range of standard receiving assignments, including but not limited to verifying shipments, matching specific item ID by name, stock number, letter, code, quantity, or unit of issue on containers, unloading incoming shipments, scanning bar codes, or keying receipt information into an automated record system.Perform tasks involved in issuing / shipping items, including but not limited to selecting and assembling items based on priority, type of material, mode of transportation, destination, and type of transaction.Ensure all assets in the medical War reserve materiel allowance standards are accounted for and managed.Perform material handling duties, including the use of tools and other equipment, in a safe manner, utilize safety practices and procedures, and comply with established safety rules and regulations.Qualifications : Must have High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalency.Previous experience in logistics management is preferred.Familiarity with Computer applications / software to include Microsoft Office programs, MS Outlook (e-mail).Must be capable of lifting 65 pounds.Powered by JazzHR
