Chiesi Global Rare Diseases
Established in 2020, this unit focuses on research, development, and commercialization of treatments for rare and ultra-rare disorders, headquartered in Boston, MA.
Purpose
We are seeking qualified and motivated individuals for the role of Medical Affairs Operations Specialist, reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs EU & EM - Global Rare Disease Business Unit.
Main Responsibilities

Support annual planning, budgeting, and performance tracking for the EU & EM Medical Affairs team.
Develop and manage medical affairs plans and tracking/reporting systems.
Provide project management support for medical affairs initiatives.
Manage interactions and collaborations with Healthcare Providers and Organizations, including contracts and grants.
Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
Coordinate medical affairs processes at regional level, including approval flows and database management.
Support specific programs as needed.

Experience and Education
Minimum of 2+ years in the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in operations or project management within biotech is preferred; direct medical affairs operations experience is a plus.
Graduate degree required.
Languages
Fluent in written and spoken English.
