About the Role
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians.

Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) Selection Process

Key Job Responsibilities
Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Complete preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all MHE, including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.
Maintain positive working relationships across all Amazon Operations facilities.
Track and store department inventory.
Move up to 49 lbs, stand, and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Shift Descriptions
Front Half Day Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (Sunday–Wednesday). 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with a half‑hour break.
Back Half Day Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (Wednesday–Saturday). 5:00 AM–3:30 PM with a half‑hour break.
Front Half Night Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (Sunday–Wednesday). 8:30 PM–7:00 AM with a half‑hour break.
Back Half Night Shift: 4 days on, 3 days off (Wednesday–Saturday). 8:30 PM–7:00 AM with a half‑hour break.
Basic Qualifications
High school or equivalent diploma.
1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
2+ years of predictive and preventive maintenance procedures experience.
2+ years of repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment experience.
2+ years of reading blueprints and electrical schematics experience.
2+ years of demonstrating safety standards experience.
1+ years of troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in Mechatronics, or High School CTE in related field.
1+ years of electrical or mechanical experience, or 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience.
Knowledge of basic mechanical aptitude and equipment troubleshooting.
Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with OEM and safety standards.
1+ years of programmable logic controls (PLC) program experience.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME.
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

The base salary range for this position is $73,840 annually (Colorado).
