Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:We are looking for a Mechanical Testing Engineer to join our HQ team based in Quattordio (AL).Reporting directly to the R&D testing laboratory Director you will:Be in charge of mechanical tests on submarine cable systems to assess their capability to withstand mechanical stresses.Set up optimized test circuit, measure instruments and liaise with the internal customers / engineering teams (HQ departments or local R&D) to understand the Project needs.Coordinate laboratory operators involved in the testing, run the testing activities and analyse the test results.Define the scheduling of the tests and lead R&D related projects.You are the right fit if you have/are: Around 2 years of experience in esting laboratories.Fluent in English both written and spoken.A master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred.Strong communication & interpersonal skills. Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset.
