We were meant to fly.Mechanical Systems Stress Analyst will lead, supervise and execute activities associated with stress evaluation tasks for complex mechanical systems (i.e. Test Rigs, Gearboxes and Engine Systems for both Civil and Military programs).In this role you will use some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance; you will use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks.You'll have access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems, may use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.Job DescriptionEssential ResponsibilitiesExecute the stress analysis that meet business standards, practices and procedures and the product / program requirementsRecommend approach to meet the technical and program requirementsSupport formulation and implementation of plans to achieve technical requirements, schedules and contract commitmentsDevelop action plans to anticipate and respond to problemsSupport design engineers to find best design solutions for mechanical arrangementsAssure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and proceduresMonitor and report project status, business issues and significant developments to design teamParticipate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviewsQualifications/RequirementsMaster’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited universityPrevious proven experience in Stress Analysis and Structure Dynamics simulation techniques and Rotor-Dynamics FundamentalsExperience in aeronautical engineeringExperience with FEM Tools (Ansys, Nastran)Knowledge of CAD design tools (preferable NX & Teamcenter)Strong technical attitude and problem solving skillsAbility to prioritize the working tasksFluency in English and Italian language, both written and oralWork Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is requiredDesired CharacteristicsCapable to work in multicultural environment, preferable previous international experienceTeam workerStrong oral and written communication skillsStrong interpersonal and leadership skillsWhat we offerSmart working and work life-balanceAvio Aero, when possible, promotes smart work in hybrid mode, and encourages a good, healthy and satisfying work-life balance.
