The role involves achieving contractual milestones related to the erection phase and coordinating subcontractors.Responsibilities include:Supervising the installation of mechanical parts and equipmentChecking the correct alignment and movement of equipmentVerifying that the erection company adheres to the time schedule, design, and technical requirementsChecking resource planning of the erection companyInterfacing with engineering departments to resolve issues during executionChecking and signing off on erection completion documentsManaging vendors and contractorsAttending meetings with the customer regarding progressManaging relationships with clients and local authorities as neededCoordinating with headquarters and subcontractorsPreparing daily reports on activity statusProviding technical assistance during trial and commissioning phasesRequired knowledge and skills:Leadership skills to coordinate, manage, and control mechanical and piping erection activities in industrial plantsAt least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in constructing steel processing plantsKnowledge of site erection and commissioning activities management for steel plants is preferredExcellent written and spoken English skillsAbility to work in a team and be flexibleWillingness to travel worldwideStrong organizational skills, responsibility, and ability to work under pressureOpen-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations
