For our own projects, we are looking for a MECHANICAL QUANTITY SURVEYOR
MISSION
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing all mechanical quantity surveying activities, ensuring accurate cost estimation, budget control, and contract management throughout the execution of a bio-refinery project.
TASKS

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for mechanical works, including piping, static and rotating equipment, HVAC, and relevant materials and labor.
Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and provide cost control to prevent overruns.
Conduct mechanical quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities for piping, steel supports, equipment installations, and related scopes.
Evaluate and certify subcontractor progress claims, variations, and payment applications for mechanical works.
Support contract administration, including preparation, review, and negotiation of mechanical contract terms and conditions.
Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align mechanical cost control with project progress.
Analyze project risks related to mechanical cost factors and propose mitigation measures.
Prepare periodic mechanical cost reports and forecasts to support management decisions.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, mechanical standards, and client requirements.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Industrial, or Bio-Refinery projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical construction methods, piping systems, equipment installation, cost estimation, and contract administration.
Proficiency in English and Italian is mandatory
