HZI serves clients from established waste management companies to emerging market partners, with over 1,600 projects worldwide.Job DescriptionExecution of building services within energy-from-waste plants, from conceptual engineering to system handover:Responsible for cost, quality, and schedule for mechanical building services (process heating and ventilation, admin building HVAC and sanitation, BMS, etc.)Coordinate and develop Concept and Basic Engineering considering internal and external interfacesManage interfaces and coordinate engineering with stakeholders (layout, civil, firefighting, electrical, process, construction)Liaise with external consultants and expedite deliverablesPrepare technical specifications for procurement packagesOversee supplier selection and timely purchase ordersExpedite suppliers during detailed engineering, including documentation and inspectionsCollaborate with procurement, civil, electrical, and process departmentsCoordinate construction activities, ensuring plant integration and interface checksEnsure supplier adherence to HZI specifications and review documentationImplement supplier data into CAE tool COMOSConduct factory acceptance tests and support installation and commissioningQualificationsEngineering degree in mechanical engineeringOver 3 years of engineering experience, preferably in plant engineeringStrong process and product knowledgeExperience in plant constructionSupplier management and procurement experience for complex systemsExperience working with multidisciplinary project teamsSkills in planning, organization, problem-solving, quality standards, assertiveness, teamwork, and communicationAbility to recognize solutions, adapt, and perform in various situations based on experienceAdditional InformationWe offerChallenging responsibilities across diverse fieldsTeam-oriented environment within an international companyPersonal development through Inova AcademyInsights into various technical disciplinesExcellent employment conditionsCentral location with good transport links
