Tenova leverages a workforce of over 2,400 forward-thinking professionals located in 18 countries across 5 continents, who design technologies and develop services that help companies reduce costs, save energy, limit environmental impact and improve working conditions. www.tenova.comMechanical EngineerWe are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join in our Techinical Department of the Pomini Business Unit.The person we are looking for shall accomplish with the following tasks:* Basic and detailed design of machine tools prototypes and new applications* Autonomous management of the bill of materials for standard products* Basic and detailed design of the parts which require customization within the standard orders* Basic and detailed design of Installation Engineering (civil works, piping)* Design review with the structural engineers and the Safety Engineer* Management of the time schedule and economic aspects of the jobs* Interface with external consultants for detailed design* Review of the activities carried out by external consultants* Quotation: design and cost extimation* Management of relationships with other company departments, in particular: Sales, Planning, Purchasing, Production, Total Quality and Service* Technical communication with customers* Meetings with customers in Italy and abroad* Visits to erection sites in Italy and abroad to verify progress and for troubleshooting activitiesRequirements:* A degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Mechanical Construction or, alternatively, a degree in Aerospace Engineering will be considered a preferential qualification.* In-depth knowledge of one or more 3D drawing tools. Familiarity with AUTO Desk Inventor is essential* In-depth knowledge of one or more 2D drawing tools. Familiarity with AUTO Desk Autocad is essential* Familiarity with the concept of PLM (Product Life Management); in particular, knowledge of PRO File will be appreciated* Familiarity with management software; in particular, knowledge of SAP will be appreciated* In-depth knowledge of the design of mechanisms and structures of machine tools, as well as the technologies and components related to them* Knowledge of the calculation and dimensioning systems of machine parts.* Significant experience in the Design Office of a company in the machine tools sector* Fluent in English* Willingness to travel.* Strong leadership, teamwork ability, collaborative approach, multi-cultural mindset, and problem-solving skills.00005647
