Are you involved in wind turbine engineering and improving renewable performance across diverse geographies?Join our Lifecycle Engineering (LCE) team - your central hub of engineering support for Service and Construction across Southern Europe, MENA and Africa (South Africa, Kenya, Egypt, Morocco, Senegal).ResponsibilitiesConduct field failure investigations by managing Component Incident Reports (CIR) for major mechanical parts. Dive into in-depth technical reports, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA), to enhance reliability and performance.Serve as a technical bridge between Vestas Service and the Research and Development (R&D) department at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, to facilitate continuous turbine performance optimization.Liaise with field technicians, suppliers, customers, and Continuous Improvement (CI) management and R&D teams to resolve mechanical component issues.Represent the mechanical team in customer meetings - presenting technical content clearly and professionally.Support the legal team with technical insights on mechanical component claims or disputes.Offer technical sales assistance for mechanical components, enabling informed choices for buyers.Maintain professional and technical know-how by attending workshops and staying up-to-date with industry publications.QualificationsAt least 2 years of direct experience in evaluating mechanical systems of wind turbines.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and practical field experience are highly valued.Business-level fluency in English (written and spoken).CompetenciesAdvanced analytical ability and solid experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA).Problem solving.Effective communicator with both technical teams and clients.What we offer...Permanent contract.Hybrid work.Salary + bonus: we will discuss in first interviews.Meal voucher.Work within an international team on projects across Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.Benefit from continuous learning and professional growth through training and internal opportunities.DEIB Statement
