Job Description Summary
Are you passionate about mechanical design and eager to contribute to the future of energy? At GE Vernova, we are looking for a technically skilled engineer to join our team in the development and continuous improvement of high voltage bushings. This role plays a key part in executing mechanical designs, optimizing existing products, and driving cost‑efficiency and standardization across our portfolio. You will work with advanced 3D CAD tools like PTC Creo, support root‑cause analysis for quality improvements, and contribute to technical standards that shape our engineering and manufacturing processes.
Roles and Responsibilities

Execute mechanical design of high voltage bushings using 3D CAD and PDM systems.
Perform fundamental mechanical analysis and develop technical standards for engineering and manufacturing procedures.
Support cost‑out initiatives and quality root‑cause analysis projects.

The role includes tasks linked to continuous improvement of existing products with a focus on material cost‑out, design for manufacturing, and standardization. Work is performed with some autonomy, guided by supervisors and company policies.
Required Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering degree or technical high‑school diploma.
Specific knowledge of finite element or PTC Creo 3D CAD system and Autocad (not mandatory).
Basic knowledge of the company business, its products, and organization.
Fluent English.
