Site Material Specialist – Gas Pipeline Project | Lower Saxony, Germany
About the Company
For an international EPC contractor and recognized leader in the construction of energy infrastructure and large‑scale Oil & Gas projects, we are looking to hire a Site Material Specialist to support a major project in Lower Saxony, Germany.
The candidate will act as a key technical interface between the QA / QC and Construction teams.
What you will do

Coordinate the receipt, inspection, storage, and distribution of project materials.
Ensure materials meet all technical specifications, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
Manage documentation and traceability records; support Procurement with supplier follow‑up and delivery tracking.
Collaborate with Construction, QA / QC, and HSE teams to ensure proper material handling and safety compliance.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within Oil & Gas, pipeline, or large‑scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of material specifications and international standards (API, ASTM, EN, ISO).
Experience with material management systems or ERP tools (SAP or equivalent).
Good command of English and German (written and spoken); Italian is a plus.
