Responsibilities include R&D activities, testing, analysis, and characterization of materials, verification & validation of new materials, defining technical specifications for special treatments, conducting failure analysis/investigation on damaged or non-conforming components, collaborating with other departments (Design, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain), and interfacing with suppliers.Qualification RequirementsMaster's Degree in Materials Science, Nanotechnology, Engineering, or a related fieldExperience or knowledge in Additive Manufacturing processes and technologies is preferredExtensive knowledge of various materials (metallic, ceramic, composite, polymeric) and experience in characterization testingLaboratory operations experience, including procedures and equipmentKnowledge of coating/surface treatment processes is advantageous but not mandatoryProficiency in EnglishGood computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Work Experience & SkillsCommitment, precision, flexibility, proactivity, and reliabilitySelf-motivated and well-organizedStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent teamwork and interpersonal skillsEffective communication skillsWillingness to travel for business (short and long-term)Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines
