Our customers (governments, institutions, space agencies, telecommunications operators) rely on Space to Connect, Secure & Defend, Observe & Protect, Explore, Travel & Navigate.MissionsCandidate shall guarantee to customers the right quality level for materials and processes used to manufacture internal or procured hardware and units on space programs:Perform Surface Mounted Technologies (SMT) Materials and Processes Control Board (MPCB) for internal or externally procured electronic unitsPeriodical update of Program Materials and Processes Control PlanReview and validation of SMT or PCB qualification plan and report for internal or externally procured unitsReview and validation of Declared Materials and Processes Lists for procured or TAS internal unitsSupport to internal customers (manufacturing PA, unit PA or program PA) on materials and processes non-conformance or anomalies managementContribution to NRBContribution to Inquiry Boards and Alert Steering CommitteesSkills / ExperiencesTechnologies knowledge: 3E part mounting & PCBQuality Assurance or Industrial Manufacturing experienceKnowledge of ECSS normative standards, especially ECSS-Q-ST-70-XX standards for technologies, materials and processes, and ECSS-Q-ST-70-60 & ECSS-Q-ST-70-61Knowledge of IPC standardsEducationEngineer or PhD in Materials, Technologies, Physics or related fieldAt Thales Alenia Space we provide CAREERS and not only jobs.
