This role involves monitoring inventory levels, assisting with procurement processes, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain efficient material flow. A solid understanding of manufacturing operations and strong organizational skills are key to success in this position.**Key Responsibilities:****• Material Planning & Coordination:*** Develop and maintain material plans based on production schedules.* Monitor stock levels and support replenishment activities to avoid shortages or overstock.* Manage purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.* Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to align material availability with operational needs.* Analyze data to identify trends and improve inventory accuracy.* Contribute to the implementation of inventory control strategies.**• Cross-functional Collaboration:*** Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to resolve material-related issues.* Participate in meetings to review production plans and material requirements.* Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.**• Product & Process Understanding:*** Understand the materials used in manufacturing and their specifications.* Maintain accurate bill of materials (BOM) and documentation.* Support the introduction of new materials or changes to existing ones.**• Reporting & Analysis:*** Prepare reports on inventory status, material availability, and supplier performance.* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to material planning.* Provide feedback to improve planning processes and system efficiency.**Qualifications:*** Experience or internship in supply chain, material planning, or manufacturing operations.* Understanding of production processes and inventory management principles.* Strong organizational and analytical skills.* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.* Good communication and teamwork abilities.* Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving attitude.* Fluency in Italian and English (written and spoken).* Willingness to learn and grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.Simply put, we hire qualified applicants representing a wide range of backgrounds and abilities.
