Profile
The Junior Exterior Creative Designer is a key player in the style creation process and the brand’s style identity. They manage projects with various style interlocutors with a first level of autonomy, in connection with the Design Project Manager and the Design Quality Convergence Manager. They produce high‑creativity sketches to propose new style concepts within the advanced phase or project research. They propose relevant sketches within the framework of the Brand Style identity during style competitions.
They analyze problems and think about solutions to solve problems, with support and advice.
They participate in internal design processes, which include the development of a clay model, digitization of a clay model, and development of hard parts.
They ensure the preparation of a presentation to a style manager and present parts of the presentation.
They contribute to the establishment of new automotive trends and translate emerging trends into automotive objects.
They contribute to generating attractive products and/or designs for our customers.
They realize 2D and 3D sketches, with weekly visual and oral presentations relevant within the Project / Brand Style Identity framework.
They ensure the argumentation of their style positions and can explain their choices or stylistic biases with a first level of autonomy during sessions with the design managers.
They accompany the physical volume setting in respect of the philosophy of the chosen theme, being with the physical modelers, guiding them, indicating what is essential.
The Junior Exterior Creative Designer Should Have
A BAC+5 in fine arts or industrial, product, or automotive design, along with between 0 and 2 years of experience in automotive design.
A minimum English proficiency level equivalent to B2.1, enabling them to lead meetings and working groups in English and discuss matters internationally.
Practical knowledge of Blender, Alias, Illustrator, and Photoshop, and the ability to create production proposals and advanced design. Capability to artistically represent 2‑D and 3‑D concepts using a variety of presentation techniques, including manual/digital sketches, Alias, Photoshop, and/or similar programs.
Ability to work with a multidisciplinary project team and possess a first level of knowledge of the global state of automotive design concepts and emerging design trends.
Capability to carry out tasks with a first level of autonomy, needing support for more complex missions.
