This person will be responsible for the downstream execution of the Healthcare Europe marketing strategy.RoleThe role requires an individual who can function at both a strategic and tactical level. In this role you will develop an in-depth understanding of Ecolab’s healthcare customers to:Create and collaborate on execution of marketing strategy and plans as well as sales enablement in respective marketLead commercialization efforts to ensure effective product launches across respective marketBuild a seamless execution and communication to ensure that entire region receive necessary supportSupport Sales Team to grow revenue, increase profitability and market share.This role is highly visible and cross-functional, requiring significant collaboration with other functions (Marketing, Sales, Finance, R&D, etc.), communication with executive management and extensive work with customers, societies, and partners. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication, collaboration and leadership abilities, passion for customers, high energy, and commitment to help solve big problems. The position will report directly to the European Multichannel Marketing Leader.Main ResponsibilitiesSupport sales growth, retention and profitability of Healthcare division through strategic planning and execution of marketing programs.Develop in-depth customer and market knowledge, keeping up to date with customer trends through regular VOC, field visits and relevant industry associations. Communicate market needs and opportunities to the wider local & EU team to support innovation pipelines.Find opportunities to generate evidence to support Ecolab solutions.Drive a total solution for the responsible segments, aimed at senior C-suite stakeholders within the Healthcare environment.Develop short and long-term strategy and execution plan for digital marketing.Leverage customers relationship to develop in-depth market knowledge.Manage the KOL network for specific segmentsSupport the growth of business based on on-going market research, campaign development and roll out, pricing strategies and budgeting/forecasting.Create and execute marketing campaigns and customer events to promote brand awarenessDeveloping and implementing strategies and plans for: o Product Launches o Manage Phase in – Phase out process o Sales Enablement and Product Training o Competitive Intelligence o Market assessmentCollaborate with critical functions, including Sales, Finance, R&D, Scientific Marketing.Remain current on market standards, association guidelines and related government regulationsLeading/influencing commercial projectsAssist in developing training programs and sales tools to support the sales force in response to customer and competitive needs.Work collaboratively with European Marketing Portfolio Managers and Strategic Marketing team to share best practice.Travel 25% based on need, customer face to face interaction, and team supportBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree with 10+ years professional sales & marketing experience; or,MBA with 5+ years of professional sales & marketing experienceExperience working in a matrix environmentFluency in English and local languagePreferred QualificationsProven ability to work independently while handling multiple tasksAbility to work with minimal supervision and navigate matrix organizations to achieve business resultsAbility to exhibit team leadership; motivate and inspire teams to achieve their highest potential and communicate a sense of vision and mission.Ability to create an environment that encourages breakthrough thinking, can move new ideas forwardWell-developed and proven leadership, strategic thinking, & business acumenPrevious experience in the healthcare spaceStrong oral and written communication skills, organizational skills, good attention to detail and use of sound judgment in a fast-paced environmentExperience creating customer-facing presentations, with visibility to top executivesSales experience, either for Ecolab or elsewhereCRM experience and aptitude a strong plus (preferably Salesforce.com)International cultural awareness and international business experienceEcolab’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) reflects our longstanding value of working together to integrate diverse perspectives to challenge ourselves, reach our goals and do what’s right.Our Commitment to a Culture of Inclusion & BelongingEcolab is committed to fair and equal treatment of associates and applicants and furthering the principles of Equal Opportunity to Employment.
