For sure you will be proud of your results at the end of the day!What does a Manufacturing/Method Engineer look like?He/she makes Lean Thinking and Continuous Process Improvement a part of the organizational culture. Our Manufacturing Engineer’s goal is to focus on the activities that the customer is willing to pay for (Value) as well as to reduce the ones that do not add value to the end customer (Waste).After removing the wastes from the value stream, the following action is to ensure that the flow of the remaining steps runs smoothly without interruptions or delays.If you join us in this role, you will initiate new projects and follow up existing ones, reporting to the Production Manager and cooperating with all the teams to create an efficient and effective organization.What we expect from you?Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering2-3 years of relevant experience in a Lean-oriented Manufacturing settingDemonstrated skill and achievement in implementing Lean practices in a manufacturing environmentPreferably, certification in Six Sigma and a proven track record of applied methodology in your past experienceEye for details and ability to roll up your sleeves and get involved whenever necessarySelf-motivated person, able to work under pressureFull of energy and ability to work together with Internal Logistics and Production TeamHappy to organize and optimize the Production environmentProficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and ExcelExperienced with Autocad and fluent in EnglishWhat else?We need you to have the capability to improve business results, drive change, and make things happen. You should be able to display consistency between words and actions, act honestly and directly with people, and raise flags when things go wrong to ensure appropriate action is taken.You should also be able to drive customer success and demonstrate a genuine interest in accurately understanding and acting on customer needs and expectations. A passion for sustainability is also required, being an example in following policies and practices as well as honoring agreements and commitments.What you will deal with in this role?Estimate production timesDefine Balancing and ideal mixDefine production Line Layouts according to Lean Manufacturing ConceptsCreate, Update, and Follow up assembly Work InstructionsTrain and Support operatorsPrepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company proceduresWork with Engineering Team to identify and implement Process Improvements and best practices through 5S and lean principlesRepresent an important link between operators and R&D engineers, playing a key role for new products introduction projects and acting as a Production representative in PTMs (Project Team Meetings)Optimization of flows for arrival of materials from warehouse to productionThe role reports to the Production Manager.What you can expect from us?You will for sure learn a lot and develop yourself further, as well as be involved in strategic decisions contributing to the Operational Excellence.
