We are seeking a highly effective candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating, lowest cost infrastructure in the world.Key ResponsibilitiesWork with cross‑function teams to deliver the AWS roadmap and achieve manufacturing‑operation readiness for new product release.Support continuous product development and lead continuous productivity and quality improvement with our global manufacturing partners.Serve as the subject‑matter expert of manufacturing test for server/network/storage rack integration and always provide timely, effective solutions to production.Work with AWS engineering and lead manufacturing test development and deployment in our global manufacturing factories.Ensure effective, efficient, and standardized manufacturing test enablement for every NPI product.Provide DFt input to achieve better design for quality, productivity, and cost.Manage day‑to‑day manufacturing engineering issues and provide diagnostic support to keep manufacturing up and running.Own engineering change management and drive manufacturing test readiness to implement engineering change.Resolve any manufacturing‑impacting issues—whether design, process, testing, or supplier quality.Optimize test capacity utilization to achieve quality, productivity and cost objectives.A Day in the LifeYou are the manufacturing test SME responsible for manufacturing test capability enablement for new product release. You will work closely with engineering and the New Product Operation team to meet NPI release objectives: On‑Time, Quality and Productivity. You will enable manufacturing engineering capability required for AWS solutions, provide engineering support for any manufacturing‑impacting engineering or quality issue, drive continuous improvement on quality, productivity, cost and establish sustainable and scalable manufacturing capability. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
