As Manufacturing Engineer, you will be the owner for the development, maintenance, and improvement of processes critical to the manufacturing of our core products. In fact, the working area for this role is the production lines of Centrifugal Compressors Impellers. You will provide support to solve complex technical problems that arise during the manufacturing process. Working with leading-edge technology, you will make key decisions, resolve issues and oversee projects to shape enhancements. You’ll unite cross-functional teams to connect, share knowledge, innovate and to develop improvements. You'll focus on conventional and un-conventional processes applied to Impellers production.
As Manufacturing Engineer , you will be responsible for :
Technology selection, Shop Routings emission and Processes & Equipment improvement.
Safety and Quality in manufacturing activities through risk-based thinking and full compliance to standards and policies.
Leading the development and qualification of new processes.
Evaluating manufacturing processes and shape strategic projects and initiatives to improve HSE, Quality, Processes Capabilities, Fulfilment and Productivity.
Effectively integrating digital transformation, advanced process capability and material handling concepts into the manufacturing processes.
Directing labour cost control and handbook update to support commercial team for costs definition and offers.
Supporting the New Product Development and New Energy Solution projects at Turbomachinery level, and their deployment within the Cell.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
Have bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or a Technical education and background with demonstrated experience in Manufacturing environment.
Have good k nowledge of conventional machining and unconventional processes applied to metal working.
Have basic knowledge of Rotor Dynamics.
Have basic knowledge of Turbomachinery components, with focus on CC Rotors.
Have high consciousness of Health , Safety and Environmental practices.
Have a bility to analyse problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions.
Have a bility to work effectively across functions in a global-matrix environment.
Be fluent in Italian and English language; hold an EU work permit.
Have s strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Have strong problem solving skills.
