Their duties include researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency, and planning factory layouts to optimize production.As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will use your knowledge of science and math to develop the most streamlined, efficient methods for component and parts distribution. You will handle inventory, process orders, plan warehouse and material flow layouts, and help define and design material flow and infrastructure to maximize transportation and reduce indirect costs.Some of your responsibilities will include:• Ensuring manufacturing processes comply with all government laws and regulations• Analyzing production processes, schedules, methods, and data to provide reports that help business leaders understand future manufacturing requirements• Reviewing and calculating labor, material, and other production costs, and analyzing schedules and future production needs• Planning workflow, equipment placement, and space requirements to improve efficiency• Tracking projects, benchmarking, and standardizing and optimizing processesPORTRAIT OF A PERFECT CANDIDATEYou see solutions, not problemsYou love challenges and take responsibility seriouslyYou have a degree in EngineeringYou have at least 3 years of experience in complex environments in roles such as Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, or Continuous Improvement EngineerYou have knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologiesYou are capable of establishing and maintaining excellent relationshipsYou can work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and deliver on timeYou are oriented towards digitalization and information technologiesYou are flexible and adaptable to constant change
